Initial Assessment: Jan-13-2011
AOR+Medicals: Jan-20-2011
PPR: No sign of it yet.
@ Freedom4ever: How can you get your passport back so fast? Is it possible for your partner to bring your passport to Buffalo, get the visa and come back immediately without having to wait? Thanks!
You can authorize any one with a written authorization to collect your visa, on Tuesday and Thursday 8 to 11 am, in my case it took around ~3 hours to give the ppts with the visa |

Same thing with Quebec RRQ programs. |

Hi, guys.
Today I saw someone's story on a forum.
He is a QC immigrant living in US but he landed from the border in ON. Now he has lots of troubles and may lose his immigration entitlement just because he landed in ON.
So if you live outside QC and consider landing outside QC, double check with CIC to ask if you can do that.

if you don't need an interview , yes sir you have to send them ur passport when they ask for it by mail

You can send your passport by mail, send your passport by yourself or ask a representative to send your passport in person. |

you or the representative gave them the ppts between 8-11 am and they give u back the ppts with the visa and the confirmation of PR documents. |

I a bit doubt about that, for example, if you are Quebec selected, and you are not in Canada then you must choose Montreal Airport for landing instead of Vancouver or Toronto? Sometime it will be complicated if you depart from Asia. I think if you are currently living in Quebec then you can land anywhere in Canada. |

I agree with tisu09 mainly because the story of that guy who's in trouble is a special case. He was leaving in Qc at first and then moved to ON. Now he received PR but provided an address in ON where he lives. Thus the agent, could not believe his real intent is to move back to Quebec and asked for proof. He should have moved back but still did not and now is maybe going to be denyied PR. |
