I went to eat dim-sum in Chinatown this morning. Then I went to old port. There were lots of people. However, I missed the parade this afternoon.

FA= Final Assessment
Some of us noticed after Medical & AOR, they got an letter or an email stating Buffalo is doing the Initial Assessment now, and I believe it might be because of their backlog and so won't be for everyone to get the note, or it's part of their new system and so it won't be applied to everyone too. For instance,
when I got AOR the letter stated we're about to do initial assessment. So to avoid the confusion, I called the note FA.

Keep in mind that if you want to go get your visa in person, you'll need to walk-in only on Tues or Thurs morning. I had already posted answers months ago on how to do so, what to bring along and what if you ask s.o. to do it for you. I personally intend to ask my friend from Niagara Region to get the visa on my behalf since my valid US visa was inside the passport that's been stolen. That should save me the time to wait if i was to mail it to Buffalo.

Cool. As for me, I finally stayed home and thus didn't get to see the prince couple on Parliament Hill... However, I chilled around my apartment and spoke with friends and family but then when to attend the fireworks at night... wish it lasted more (always good things don't)
Wonder what our new PR holder did to celebrate...i'd love to know if you(freedom) did something special?

Speaking of PR, this morning my eCas finally allowed me to see the status of my application using Client ID. They deleted my address though, but at last I won't need File#............ speaking of how their system is efficient, really?
