Also, do you think there is a point of checking our mailbox anymore? I thinnk buffalo is only using email as a source of communication?

Use this form to apply for GCMS http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdfIf you live in Canada, it wont cost you any thing, just fill the form and send it. As of my knowledge we have not to check our email or mail boxes from now until May, it is sad but this is the truth, as they have long Queue at Buffalo QSW. If you supply email address then they won't send any thing to your mailbox. |

I got CSQ under PEQ, and my federal application is in Buffalo. (even though the AOR+medicals was sent by Ottawa PP) Its been 6 months since my PR application. My meds were done in November, and waiting for the PP request. So it will take around 8-15 months depending on many things.

I really did not do that, but i wrote my address in Canada..and i think this is what delaying the issue. what do u think? |

Thank you for the useful information. But I still would like to know your opinion on the following three possible options: 1. QSW under PEQ: I need to obtain French certification which may be available in April. 2. CEC: Refused due to low IELTS: I need to take new test which may be done in March. 3. FSW with AEO: I need find an AEO outside Quebec, which may be available in February. Which stream is faster and easier? |

When I sent mine I included a proof of residence in Canada. Did you ask them to receive the notes in EMAIL? If so, then you already should have them by now. Try contacting them and see what can happen. |

One question about email regarding status inquiry.
I send two email recently to buffalo about my status, one in english and one in french. they reply as follows.
DEC2011: Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the
processing of your application will be complete.
JAN2012: Votre demande est en attente d'examen. Aucun calendrier n'a encore été établi à cet égard. Vous n'avez pas à prendre d'autre initiative pour le moment.
My question is that how can my case be in process but still "en attente d'examen"... Do these reply actually mean the same thing?
