Hello Guys,
I am currently worried about my PR application. As CIC has asked me to submit police clearance from Saudi after 1 year of all my documents submitted to them. I asked them in my application to send me a request to do police clearance as Saudi government need direct request to process such application.
Also according to their website they are NOT doing it from here and if I contact my embassy in Riyadh it will take somewhere between 3-5 months before i get this police clearance.
1- Now how can i do this in 3 months, as CIC has given me time for 3 months.
2- One agent asked me 480 $ to do this clearance from here, i think it a very high for this official document.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am loosing hope and thinking of withdrawing my application as they are not looking in a mood to give this to me anytime soon. It is already been 14 months to my application to Buffalo.

Congrats on your PR card but I was wondering which date they specified as the date you got the PR: is it the date you got the card or the date you landed??

It's hard thing when you approach the end you have such problem. why you are gonna give up at the end?? 480$ is not big problem to get the PCC if this is the only way..don't forget you have spent more than 1000 $ to have your file reach to this point...so consider what you will gain after you get PR, then you will find it is worthing to pay the 480$. Send buffalo email and explain your situation to them and send them the link to the KSA embassy that state what you said bout not giving the PCC... I hope things will get well with you soon |

Just to let everyone know I got PR Card last week too. Congrats to fairooz and all PR holders and wish the best to all the rest awaiting.

My ecas has been updated and now appears with medical results has been received... Then maybe next week u will have ur ecas updated... we r one step closer

One quick question:
When you move to a new place after sending application documents to Buffalo, do you have to inform the Government of Quebec (Direction de la sélection des travailleurs - Amériques) of the address change in addition to the federal Buffalo office?

I think we should take medical received as a reference because we received our medical request because it was process by ottawa pilot which sent out medical request crazily even september applicants already received medical request... what should we taking into consideration is who is having its initial assessment. What i have seen in this forum is that Nov. 2010 applicants got there IA in september but after that havent seen any progress in Dec 2010 and Jan. 2011 applicants. But let hope buffalo will start sending out IA soon.... Lets be positive and hope that by May we r done this Keep in touch |

guys, just be patient, if u check trackkit, u will find in the past years, buffalo never made ppr in early january for Quebec skilled worker stream, it always started in the late january or beginning of Feb.
btw,, i guess (or i should say i hope) the overall speed of 2012 should be faster than 2011, since there were less applicants in 2011 than 2010.
