Federal application for QUEBEC workers from Buffalo, USA

welcome on board. It depends if your file is a priority, if you paid with CC, if everything is in the envelop, and if you're in Quebec already. I had my File# from Montreal BIQ after 2weeks wait. I paid with CC. Also I did high school and college in Quebec before moving for university in Ontario and now am back in Quebec. So, assessing my case was somewhat a piece of cake.

But, yes all US and Canada sends CSQ appl to Montreal. Then those in USA get transferred to New York and some even have interview.

Hope u'r standing still in this unfair pressure we're facing. Hope Clement is okay too and all those waiting. As for ecas my address is gone since Aug 30 I should get my WP soon and then I'll see how to get US visa again.

Be strong my friends and have faith in God not in men or systems.

I was super upset yesterday. I have't gotten my new WP and have no news from LA. Life seems miserable and hopeless. haha~~~
But, today I feel OK. This morning my friend told me "Why don't you just wait one more day? Maybe tomorrow you will get ppr." Yes! Have a faith. We'll get it over soon.

Your friend is right,besides you are on the home stretch so don't despair now Whenever I get frustrated with this entire process I always remind myself that the hardest and longest part of this is behind me and if God saw me through that, He'll see me through this too!

yeah. As for me fallsage, I'm not worried anymore at present time since I know my God knows where my file is and with whom. I feel less stressed out to know He's in charged. Sometimes silence doesn't mean God says no but it might just be a learning process in where we will develop a fine new perspective. I recall few times ago when i recd the transfer email, I wanted to quit and go back to Ivory Coast. I thought Canada doesn't need me, nor want me... Later, i told myself if i ever get PR status i'll use it to full capacity even in ways that aren't really politically correct. But that's not me to make ppl pay for what I feel unfair. Truth is life is sometimes unfair and at once we cry, lose hope, faith, and get strengthless but yet God is there with us, with me and you. Just awaiting to hold you and share good, great and bad times and help you move forward regardless the hardship.

I am still frustrated at the process and turns my file goes but am glad to have my God within and by my side. Am even more happy to be helping others and truly keep smiling at life.

Actually, I was supposed to be priority, but wasn't. yes, i remember when i phoned BIQ Montreal, the guy said if u're not living in Quebec you'll be transferred to NY. You may then have an interview in NY too and if successful will get CSQ. Then you'll be able to apply for Federal process whose timeline is now doubled 11-14 months average. Am running toward my 13months for Federal and had a 7months waiting time for CSQ
Don't get discouraged you'll get through it all just go a day at a time like Fallsage advice us all!

I got the passport request email this morning. I was asked to send the right of landing funds, the passports and the proof that I have sufficient fund for landing. We are 5 members in the family, therefore about $24,000. Will a bank statement be sufficient enough. I have not read anywhere on the forum that anyone was asked to show that. Please can anyone give me suggestions? Thank you

We are 5 members in the family, therefore about $24,000. Will a bank statement be sufficient enough. I have not read anywhere on the forum that anyone was asked to show that.
