I got my CSQ last year and I am getting my docs ready for filing federal. I am in USA now and I heard the filing office would be Buffalo, but some of my friends told that getting the federal approval is much faster in India. Is it right?

Any one has any experience with the Indian office?

Thanks.

What you said about the timeline is right. However, I believe since you started your CSQ process in the USA, you cannot apply for the federal part from India.

You can do it from India as well. Federal can be done from two countries: The Place which approved your CSQ or country of your citizenship.

I have the same case. Got CSQ from Newyork but applied in Delhi.

Thanks everyone, that's what I heard too. Looks like filing in India will be faster than filing in Buffalo/USA.
