I hope we can be in. it all depends on the NOC. Mine is 7242 I guess I don't have to worry about the NOC CAP being reached. However, I am a bit worried about the overall (10000) CAP. @ Sikh19 I hope you will be getting your PER soon. CIO is working on December cases now. yesterday many people (first and second week of DEC) got their PER. good luck to all |

I am applying under NOC 7242 it is good that you have an AEO. you don't need to worry about the CAP good luck  |

Hi guys i have applied on Feb 16, 2012, my NOC is 6322. I am a bit worried about the 10,000 total cap....fingers crossed.... we are in the same situation my friend. my application was received by CIO NS on 16th FEB. my NOC is 7242 i am quite optimistic. the current total applications received stands at 8042 (as of 14th FEB) and it was 7828 a week earlier. that means there was an increase of 214 in a week. if we assume that the rate will be the same for the coming weeks (although the rate might be slower because most of the popular NOC categories have already reached the CAP). that means the 10000 CAP will be reached somewhere towards the end April. that means we will be safe even if CIO has a lag of two months. i used to be worried too, but I chose to stop worrying and be optimistic. There is always hope.  |
