I did not receive an e-mail. They sent a letter.
When I checked my E-CAS, I initially found (application received) and then after four days it was changed to (decision made). The decision was sent in a letter.
Note that I mailed out the app on Feb 8 and received on Feb 10 (as shown on mail tracking) but they indicated that my app was received on Feb 13 (Feb 10 was Friday and Feb 13 was Monday).
I think they are finishing now mid-Feb and some late Feb...

hi everyone! i am a February 8 applicant,, just today my husband got a mail from cic-m stating that he is approved as a sponsor, the letter was dated may 18.. God is Good!  God bless to those who are patiently waiting,,ur turn soon! Congratulations! Hope we see more approvals! |

Congratulations Very good news !! Seems that they date the packages after 3 days of the shipment and then after 90 days they start working on it and finalize it in the same week. I stongly believe that TODAY they are finalizing the packages which were sent on February 21, 2012 and before that date. Best wishes. |

I think they date the packages once they open them (on the same day of receipt showed on mail tracking or the following day..if there is no weekend or holiday). |

You can try your receipt number but I doubt it will work. If you don't get an AOR then you just have to wait or call. Sorry! |
