It is hard to know where the slower agents are but Feb 22 has been approved so I think they are working on ALL February dates at this point. The website is not accurate most of the time. It won't be long now everyone - I know the wait is hard but you will get approval SOON!

Hey guys, I m soooo confused. My application was received on Feb 13, 2012 and i haven't received any word from CIC yet. However, i see people getting approved from later dates. Any comments??  Thanks.. |

Well in my case, the missing document... the only thing that was missing on it was the word NONE for the children section. They wanted us to re-do it just because of one silly word, even though it was signed. My wife mailed the form ($50 for express, rip off Cebu mail post rofl). I should receive it hopefully latest tomorrow so that I can mail it ASAP so they can hopefully get it by friday and not monday because monday is really late. Heh... Urgh, I am filled with horror by this... I didn't write "NONE" for children either, I just signed the thing as it instructs you to. I am hoping the officer that processes my file doesn't insist on me submitting a new copy of that. Another thing to worry about.......... man, it will be a beautiful day when all of this crap is over. |

I am sure it depends on the agent. Don't send anything in until they ask for it, otherwise they'll just send it back as they won't know where your application is. Do you have a UCI number?

Thanks.. I know I was approved because I got an AOR and can login with my UCI. But if I didn't get the AOR which most people don't - I wouldn't know anything. I still haven't gotten the letter. So it is possible your letter is in the mail. |

Oh sorry Deficient. It is possible they won't ask you to resubmit especially if they see somewhere else in the application that there are no children. But - get it ready so you can mail it the same day you get the request IF you get the request. Your turn will be soon if they haven't started looking at it already. |

I completely agree with you. All the horrors you need to think about like if they get the papers or if they get lost, they do give you deadlines, and if you don't meet them, they reject you, and the only way you can find out about the deadlines is if you listen 24/7 for them, or it may be their system that fails and you never receive the message that says you have a deadline and you'll never know about it, it's totally bullcrap there are no fail safes... |
