This is so out of line.
Given that you presumably didn't include or fully complete the form, if anyone was going to throw the term "mentally limited" around, then, you know... except I'm not as rude as that and I know mistakes are easily made in completing these applications when you've got umpteen different forms and a stack of paper on top of it. We're all human. (And so are they.)
I'm just saying. There's nothing wrong with expressing your frustration, and I'd be steaming mad too in your position, but maybe you could lay off with the namecalling. There's no need for it.
I agree.. In a public forum, we should respect everyone.. This forum is only to share our information to keep the others get informed about what is happening around our application process. ..not to blame anyone...

It's true, they are very rude and they don't listen to what you have to say. They seem like broken records, they are not helpful at all... Why do they even have a job there? It feels like it's just for show! They have grown corrupt because of job safety so they don't really care how they treat you... :\

Well submit this form with completeness and submit it today itself.. send it one day post so they have it by next wed, once they get it, they will process it right away.. usually when they ask for more information/documents and when some one sends it they compile it with your file right away... I would say if you do like this.. u can get it approved in 2 weeks... make sure to put your client id on the letter and mention why and what u sending, attach the copy of the letter u got requesting the forms as well... It sucks, but these are the "mentally challenged" people who actually found a mistake "you" made Sorry but calling names out of frustration is not a good sign.. you still got a long way to go in the process and loosing patience wont help you or anyone here on forum.. good luck and I hope your first step gets resolved very soon. We did not make a mistake, we do not understand why they say that file is missing. I spoke with my wife and she has a log of the document being completed. Do not imply my wife made a mistake, ~that~ is rude and "mentally challenged" of you. Please keep your opinions to yourself about other people in this forum. Don't judge!

Please keep your opinions to yourself. I don't need to hear your retort, there's no need for you to post a flaming remark or an attempt to incite an argument. Please keep your mouth shut and don't speak to/about me. Thanks.
I'm sorry, I probably could have expressed my thoughts in a less inflammatory way. I just thought it is unfair to call anyone "mentally limited" because of something that might have been caused by an oversight on your own part, or indeed an oversight on their part. No matter how frustrated you might be. Either way, we're all human and mistakes do occur. I'm not trying to flame/troll. I just hate it when people are mean for no good reason (including myself and I'm guilty of it sometimes) and this wouldn't be the first time I've jumped on someone for being mean-spirited here. I can't help it, it's like a kneejerk reaction or something. But we're all in this together and I don't want this to turn into yet another round of negativity (already seen it once) so we can probably leave it at that. This forum is so much better when everyone is being positive and encouraging and not taking swipes. Hoping your form situation gets resolved swiftly and it doesn't hold things up for you.

Wow like really if you are going to be negative all the time, then this process is going to be very long and stressful for you. Think positive thoughts, your days will be much brighter in light of the situation (THE SITUATION WE ARE ALL IN TOGETHER!)

I worked for the government before. I know who I'm dealing with. You don't know our situation well enough to know what may have triggered my previous comment. Like I said, don't judge. I don't remember passing judgements on any of you?

My application was received on Feb 10 and heard nothing so far. I see many people with dates later than already received responses from the Mississauga or Ottawa.

Does anyone know if the process of the 3 months wait is restarted once they receive the "incomplete" forms, or do they process it right away? I heard someone here said it will take only 2 weeks since they get the document to get back to my application. Can we have confirmation please? Thanks...

Your file is already in process. So they will just match up the document and finish processing it. If the address they want you to send the form to is different than the one you sent the application to, it should be pretty fast.

Hi just some timeline to share here.
My application was submitted on Feb 6th and received on 7th. Cic started to process on may 10th. They sent me a letter requesting a missing signature on may 16th. Letter received today and I replied today. I was so worried that they requesting other docs I.e. police check as I lived in four countries longer than 6 months and it was a pain to get those police docs so I m so relieved to see the letter today.
Wish this timeline can shed a light on u if u r anxiously waiting , like me a week ago. Hopefully can get approva next week.
Have a nice long weekend everyone. Try to stick to this forum but too much will ruin ur life. Enjoy the moment u have! Try.....
