So I called again today they still don't have me in the system and guy told me to try back next week. Grrrrrr frustrating
chickie72 that is exactly what they told me on Wednesday when I called........you just have to be next........just a little more faith it won't be too much longer I am sure of it......and Monday is next week so call first thing!!! |

well the good news is when I went out to the mail box today there was something from CIC.... the Really really bad news is that it was my whole package I sent to them in February.....they want new copies of IMM0008,IMM5406 and IMM5490........ Yeah I'm not holding up so well now!  |

If all they want is the new forms, then it's really really unfair. Those forms weren't required when you submitted. |

I just don't get why they wouldn't just send me a letter saying they wanted new copies of those forms instead of sending the whole thing back to me to have to pay to fedex again! and to think we chose to go with Canadian immigration because it was going to be faster and cheeper... I still think it will in the long run but right now I know that it is going to cost a hell of a lot just to cover the cost of all the extra ice-cream I will need this weekend!

Good luck with the extra work for this week end and thumbs up for your positive attitude, that's the way to go!! and hopefully, as you have a UCI, and maybe already an officer assigned, once you send everything back, you will get a fast-track and catch up, and not be delayed for too long. i know how u feel... the same thing happened to me... i was in tears and shaking...its honestly not fair at all they should just send u a letter saying u need these forms to be sent and u have till this date to do it if not ur package will be sent back.. this is just heart breaking..u have waited so long and now this..but at least u have a UCI number and they will accept it back and u dont need to go back in que for 82-90 days :-s good luck Thanks everyone! What were the reasons for CIC to send the entire package back to you? More to the point, what was wrong with those IMM forms?? Did they specify the problems? This is not good at all...it means that they might send back packages quite late, as you should have already been approved according to the timelines...plus I read on this forum that they do an initial check to make sure everything is complete, so if you haven't received anything back from CIC after about 2 months of waiting, it supposedly means that the package is complete...I guess that theory is no longer valid... At least you have a UCI number! Don't worry, just correct whatever they need corrected and get it back to them ASAP!! FS |
