I tend to agree with you from what I have been reading on this forum and other ones. Totally not fair but not much one can do about it at this point. Definitely don't want to make them mad and put your application on the bottom of the pile yet again! I have become very good about waiting these days but my patience is running low....especially when I hear March applications are receiving approval. I am happy for them but concerned/worried about mine.

I don't know why some February people are waiting - I think it is because March was forwarded to Ottawa which is less busy. But it definitely has NOTHING to do where the sponsor or applicant lives! Nothing at all! The spreadsheet shows it.

I truly hope your right......everyday after work rush home to the mail to see if there is a later and I check my email about 15mins ..LOL....just hoping I received something......it would be nice to be content for a little while again before I have to start worrying about step 2  |

97 days here.......waiting sucks and I understand why they did feel the need to send some to Ottawa to help out, but it is not fair to the others who are waiting.......and now others who sent theirs in after them are on Phase 2 already.
KJG- I hear you about the email and mail......am addicted to checking my email now and I rush home after work everyday just to check the mail. LOL

Yes....it's amazing to what my life has been reduced to lately.....that and countdowns of my next trip to see my husband!!!! I am pretty sure all will be well in the end it's just the waiting that is hard.....when I applied it was lik 58 days.....so I figured no later than May I would hear but May has come and gone.....but I do feel better now that I have found this forum....it helps to vent to people who understand our frustration after putting so much time and effort into the application.

I feel for you all, its been over 100 days since my application was sent and still no reply. I'm not sleeping at night as I am worried wether they have even got my application! Stressful time but hope it all ends soon. I really wonder if the folks at CIC know how much stress they put us under...it dose not help being a Air Traffic Controller!! Hope my ticker hangs in there!!! |

False alarm I'm only at 102 days not 104. Immigration Canada has 8 days until I lose it. The worst is they sent me a email telling me they received my application. They are teasing me "yah we have your application, but we ain't doing shirt with it"

All I can think of is that no one wanted my box!!! It was close to 10kg being two years worth of proof of our relationship!!!

Yes....I was told to submit as much proof as possible so 2 years worth of emails, texting, over 300 photos plus our professional wedding photos....plane tickets, hand written letters, etc. phone bills, yep....the box was heavy. No way they can say we don't have a real relationship!!!

I agree with you all I am a March applicant but its really stressful and I didnot receive any email saying that yes we have received your application....I am really stressed out as well....But i am glad that I found this forum and we can chat with each other.... |
