On friday May the 25th i received an email saying they received my application on feb 24th ..Its almost a week..still no update ..website still says we received ur package feb 24 2012..  how people get approved right away and they still looking at my application for a week..i feel i wont get accepted if they wait this long to be approved. Unemployed people not born in canada get approved to sponsor but a working person cant..immigration canada needs to be reformed They don't get approval right away. They just don't get the email saying their application was received. You are lucky. use the UCI number to check ecas. It takes about one week or more before you get approval so you have nothing to worry about. Relax. |

Got our letter today saying we have been approved for Stage 1 and our application is on its way to London. We sent our application in on Valentine's Day so fingers crossed for anyone waiting still.

gudd morning everyone it'S thursday and no approval for 13 feb. anyone got approval yesterday plz let me know i keep calling them they have same answer working on 7 feb APPS but i don't understand how come they have sent approval for tthe APPS recived after 14 feb. some thing i wrong but whattttttttt plzzzzzz open 13 feb APPS plzzzzzzzz
they updated their website, it says feb 15. you can now *censored word* at them like the b*tches that they are (likewise treatment) because it now says "feb 15" and u r feb 13 |

Well I'm gonna ask this for the third time, does anyone know how long it takes to match a form the requested to an application?? Someone said it takes another whole 3 months. Remember the deadline for them to receive it is 2 months or else they forfeit my application. Such bull*censored word*!

This is just ridiculous. My application is also FEB 13 and still no news from CIC. To add further, i called and they disconnected the phone WOW.. isn't this just amazing.. Its a torture.. |

Congrats! Any additional info such as date of filing, date of approval, etc would help others here to determine their timeline.
App filed on feb 14th, Approval letter dated on May 28th and Letter received today. I actually called when the website was updated; agent told me they are still working on feb 7 ; I had to tell her website was updated. She did mention Mississauga office is a high volume office. I did not get any emails or any AOR; just a mail. Here I thought I was going to receive some package for sending out a package. On to painful stage 2. |

Hi ThunderSoul, I think we are unfortunately on the same boat. I don't really believe what the agent said "90 days as it is a new case" however anything could happen in CIC as it is a black-box operation. I wish us both good luck. And probably our question wouldn't have a standard answer. Just try to be positive and leave it there and wait for a good surprise. remember to keep positive although it is very hard with CIC |
