Good Day All,
I just got the approval letter today dated May 23, 2012. No, I didn't get any email from them. My application was received by CIC on Feb 24, 2012. Woohoo... I am so happy!! Finally after 3 loooonnnngggg months a news to share! The letter states that "I have met all the requirements" to sponsor my wife and the application has been forwarded to New Delhi office... I wonder how long it will take now?
Btw... just to recap an old discussion... I did not put "NONE" under children section in the "Additional Family Information" form.
That's interesting to know. Glad you made it. So it stands to reason that our officer is one of the worse that's processing the forms. :\ It's been almost 1 week since they received it and they still didn't match it. I wonder if the envelope got lost. :\ |

I sent in a file with missed signature as requested by CIC 2 weeks ago. I thought I should have result (approval) very soon as I have been assigned a file number and I have a case worker. However, I am too optimistic!!! I heard nothing since then and when I called CIC, they are not helpful at all!!!! Cannot tell me if they have received my reply mail, told me I may have to wait for another 90 days since I replied as my case will be treated with a new case, I can only check again after another 2 weeks and I may have to send another form with signature if they didn't receive it.............. horrible!!!! I know the CIC agent is not always right, but the waiting really makes me frustrating! I know I made a mistake so the process is delayed. But isn't this process a disaster with people being left in the darkness of waiting with only tiny hope?!
sorry about the complain. I am really stretched to the limit.
What!? They are restarting the whole process!? What the f*ck? They are delaying my entire application because of some hairy balled a-hole who's making a big deal about some word "NONE" unlike others who don't really care about that word as long as you have a signature that goes with the form!? This is effing bull, can someone confirm this!?!? |

you're lucky, I got lef tin the darkness for 6 years till they closed Damascus, and then Ankara wouldn't reply to me so I canceled that stale application.
What did you do for 6 years? Did you try talking to them and asking what happened to your app? 6 years is huge, what! |

If you use the UCI - put in the sponsors info.
Unfortunately none of the two numbers (UCI and File number) are working. I did put my husband's details. |

We sent you a letter on May 16, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

and under permanent Residence application status
We received .......................application for permanent residence on February 8, 2012.
Medical results have been received.
should i call them to find out what happen to my letter or i am soo confused

Congrats!!! You got approved! I'm also waiting for a letter mailed on may 16. I'm going to call but I suspect the mail is just slow. |
