Its been 93 days since I mailed my application, i've seen that some people have not got any news and its been well over 100 days. I'm getting very anxious, it might be time to ring them on Friday...so frustrating! Good luck to all those waiting.  |

I think it's been over 90 days for us (92?), but for all we know they may already have approved us and sent a letter per snail mail. I believe some people only receive a physical letter (no e-mail), so it could be that they're already approved you! Don't despair yet!

on y ecas under permanent residence it say
We received ........................ application for permanent residence on February 8, 2012.
Medical results have been received.
does any one know how long does it take after this process

Depends on the visa office that deals with your home country. Where does the principal appilcant live? |

Lucky you!! New Delhi is usually super quick at 2nd stage processing!! Maybe only a couple weeks to a month? Depends on how straight forward your case is. |

Now I just want to let all the anxious February applicants know that we received the sponsor approval today!  Missisauga received our application on February 14th. Now it's up to London and I hope it doesn't take too long. Good luck everyone! |

Congrats!!! I hope we get our approval letter in the mail today. It's been almost two weeks since they mailed it. I'm worried we won't get it. Some of us will have our application processed from start to finish in ottawa.... |

Well they started with Step 1 in ottawa and It was on the news that they wanted to do all interviews and low risk cases in ottawa so who knows with the government |

Good Day All,
I just got the approval letter today dated May 23, 2012. No, I didn't get any email from them. My application was received by CIC on Feb 24, 2012. Woohoo... I am so happy!! Finally after 3 loooonnnngggg months a news to share! The letter states that "I have met all the requirements" to sponsor my wife and the application has been forwarded to New Delhi office... I wonder how long it will take now?
Btw... just to recap an old discussion... I did not put "NONE" under children section in the "Additional Family Information" form.
