Hi Dorisiana,
Thanks for all your work on a beautiful table!
So some good news this morning!
My husband just got his letter on April 4, 2011 from New Delhi.
The letter is dated March 22, 2011.
It asks for his PR fee which is already paid.
It asks for police clearance from other countries if more than 6 months, which he does not need.
And finally for his passports, which he only has one.
The letter says to send it by secure mail.
I think to the address listed on the bottom: Immigration section.
Does anyone know if it is worth it to send a pre-paid Fedex envelope along with the passport?
Note that this information is not on e-cas.
Its normal for them to ask that cuz its their default ppr letter draft. Also for thnse who pay it after they get this letter, i gotta knw it takes 4 weeks or more for CPC to update paymt info  |

The letter is the standard letter that they send to everyone when they request PPR, I'm thinking when my wife gets the request, I will write a letter stating that we have already Paid the PR Fees, and here is the receipt (copy) + PCC is already submitted, but here is the certified copy included and finally the passport, just to see if it makes difference, because what if they see that and they don't need to go back to the package that we sent it to them, and will just see the copies and will stamp tha passport and return with the shiny sticker  .... you never know!!!! (I'm wishing for too much from ND) DNT2003 Hi Vegan, I assume your husband lives in India? So they sent this letter to him at his address there, right? Kind of strange they asked for things you included in the package already. Or had you not included the police clearance + PR fee receipt?

i believe it depends on the Visa Office your application will be forwarded to.. they have different processing times.. may i ask what visa office you are going through?
thanks to dorisiana and kewjow for getting back to me. i dont no anything abt visa office, all i no is my brother stays in manitoba and his my sponsor. i applied under family stream, have sent all the document to my brother since 5th of march and my brother has not get back to me even mpnp... i cant wait to hear from you on wat next to do, thanks. |

Specially those people whose application was sent to their respective visa office during the week of March 20, 2011 14 days (2 weeks) average for New Delhi is due today for me, and no update on eCAS of FILE RECEIVED by ND yet. atlast i have received a letter asking for ppr.
letter was dated March 28.. And received April 06.
they asked for old and new passport and landing fee if not paid.
I have question.
1) My wify has two passport i.e. one before marriage and one after marriage. Does she need to send old passport also.
2) can we send country specific form (i.e. travel information) as we didnt send it when we filed application.
3) my wify has new police clearance certificate now, can we send that also.

under sponsor column, its says decision made and under applicant's column it still says application received. My wife (applicant) has received file number (Fxxxxxxxx) and now she can track her application with her details. |
