Hey congrats, I hope we all get a speedy visa, so did you login using the same details to CAS? also when does one receive the Client ID, and the File number, What advantages does Receipt Number vs Client ID vs File Number have when we compare this to CAS ? DNT2003 Yay! Ecas updated!!

What advantages does Receipt Number vs Client ID vs File Number have when we compare this to CAS ?
DNT2003
before i received the letter of approval i was using the receipt # to log in ( and then enter the sponsor's info) for the rest of the fields. once i received the letter it had the client ID. In my opinion logging in using both #s gives me the same result.. however you can only use the client ID if you want to check the status of your file using the automated phone number when calling the call ctr. |

I finally just recieved the letter in the mail!! Feels good, I feel like calling my husband and playing an April Fools joke on him  My ecas does not say that the applications have been mailed to the VO though..but in the letter it says it has been forwarded  Does anyone know why this could be? |

guys,
whoever is applying thru buffalo....wanted to let you know that CIC Buffalo is creating files rcvd by Jan. 17 2011. I had shot an email asking about my AOR and they said they havnt reached feb as yet so we are getting close, they are upto Jan 17th now.
