Hello Everyone, Having a sad day today haha I'm kinda lost really - our ecas was updated pretty quickly (when using my huband's (sponsor) details - I'm still not identified apparently haha) They received our application Feb 7th at Miss, Sponsor approved and all forwarded on Mar 4th - my husband got a letter 3 weeks later (thankfully he phoned them to find out the decision so we didn't go insane haha), London received them on Mar 9th and they also updated the medicals have been received...yet...I haven't had a letter to say they received anything...and it's exactly 3 weeks today....maybe I'll just get all the good news at once haha fingers crossed!! I hope ecas can identify me soon!!  This is not a definitive statement,...... some people have had "processing" starting around 50 - 55 days - about eight weeks (some take longer). So you have a bit longer to wait before anything happens  |

my ecas says that they made a decision on march 22nd and sent me a letter in the mail..still havent gotten anything..does it say there if the papers went to my husbands visa office? because if it is supposed to, mine doesnt say anything  what does that mean?? any info would be apprechiated. hi nairyd, ecas can be a real pain and nerve wrecker at times! unfortunately since you are in stage 1 it will not say whether your application has been forwarded to your husband's VO. But your letter does say that. Ecas only updates this info once the VO enters this info. congrats! it's good news  |

I was wondering if it was possible to log into ecas using the receipt number received from paying online. The one that starts with R? Or do I have to wait for the client ID that comes with the letter? Thanks.

you can log in with your receipt #, however if its still early in the processing stage you may not be able to get any info.

Got my returned application today....missing signature  Very bad and sad... Don't feel too bad and sad...mine got returned for the exact same thing...I swear I looked over all those forms like a hundred times but I guess I missed it still... I sent mine back in today with the corrected signatures. Did they give you a sticker to put on your envelope? They gave me a sticker on my letter and said attach this sticker when you send it back...I talked to to the call centre and they said that it will be forwarded to the immigration officer and it should be reviewed a lot sooner...hopefully we wont need to wait too long for it now. Did you send yours back already? |

Thanks cdngrl...our application was received 28 Feb and they are working on applications received 1st March. Would that mean I should have an ecas activated or could it take longer to activate the ecas for me, that is, the 37 waiting time. Thank you.

I'm part of the ND 2010 thread, and want to be part of this thread as well, as here all the people are from February 2011, I mailed mine in on the 23rd of Feb.
Here is my update:
We received your application to sponsor WIFE NAME on February 24, 2011.
We started processing your application on March 23, 2011.
We sent you a letter on March 23, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
so I'm just waiting for the AOR to arrive in the mail, I wonder how many days it will take? I live about 50KM away from CPC-M

you can always try logging in and see what happens... i found that my ecas updated around 1 week before the 37 day mark. but i've heard that others had it activated before. just keep trying and before you know it, you'll be able to log in ( unfortunately there's really no saying with ecas!) |

ECAS with sponsors login says - we have received your application to sponsor ''null'' name of the person being sponsored and so on.... I am kinda concern with this word null .. what does it mean ?
