so weird. on my computer it shows jan 31, but on my phone's internet it does show feb. 8.
i can not log into ecas yet, even though my app was feb 7....could it be my computer?

my app was received feb 7...still waiting for something...anything! lol, but on the website im on it shows "working on applications received jan 31"
I am like dominic and my app was received in FEV 7 but I still have not info and on my screen it says "working on applications received jan 31" and that is after i clear m cache..... I cannot get into the ecas still..... |

From ask Leo The top two solutions are actually pretty simple:
F5/Refresh: about half the time simply refreshing the page will resolve the problem. The F5 key, or refresh, tells the browser to reload the entire page, which causes it to once again check the items in the cache for any updates. (It's possible that it also ignores the cache, and simply re-downloads anyway.)
Clear the Cache: about 90% of the remaining instances can be resolved simply by clearing the cache. Depending on your browser, clearing the cache often does more than simply deleting the files. Most caches have some sort of indexing system to speed up access to the files within it. Occasionally, it's not the files that are at fault, but the index itself that has become corrupt. Clearing the cache also resets this index as well.

well its just a technological glitch, imp. thing is that they are working on files rcvd by Feb 8th although I am sure that not completely accurate. My gut feeling is they are usually slightly ahead of the date mentioned.

considering my app was received feb. 7, and my ecas isnt loading, nor did i recieve any mail, should i call the hot line? or will i be wasting 30 min on hold for nothing?

I am sure by the end of this week they will update for the files recieved by 11th feb @ CIC mississauga, as last week most ppl's E-Cas was activated during weekends  !! |

The "working on applications received on" date is just that, applications are being "worked on", not completed.
As all cases differ, all you can get is a "guesstimate", in fact the safest comments that anyone can make about the actual date is "soon" or "when they get around to it".
This is only the first stage, there is a lot more to come, patience is the best approach.
