I got my medicals in Canada
Oh ok thats why they got extended.My medicals have already passed but they want me to redo them since there over a year old.Ive been here for a year now and they said theres know record of me getting here so thats why they want me to redo mine.But hopefully with all the bank statements the MP sent Buffalo they will extend them and finish my app. |

They told my MP I wouldnt hear anything until after the new year that Im still within the 11month timeline and they want me to redo my medicals than I definately wont hear anything.What realy sucks is my medicals have already passed also. |

Well apparently Buffalo sent me a letter on Sep 11th requesting criminal check which I never recieved and of course was sent with my app.If It wasnt for my friend looking into my app I never would have known.This system is a joke,first they want me to redo my medicals and now this.I cant wait to see whats next.

Haha, if only that worked! I finally got tired of waiting for a response to my CSE for our file number, and contacted the general Immigration email address instead. In about 12 hours (well, I emailed them Thursday night and had an answer yesterday morning), I had my answer with the file number. Next step is ordering CAIPS notes to see what has/hasn't been done with the file in the 5.5 months since they've had it.

 How excellent, J5! That's another Feb file from Singapore that is going out in good time! Some of these meds received updates are good news so far, hooray! Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone who's gotten that update. thank you charlie, i think i speak for all when i say you are a really great member on here. I will definitely keep my fingers cross for you and everyone else who is still waiting. i see that it has been 5.5 months since your visa office received your file. if it helps to share, singapore held on to my file for 6 months before i received any update. I pray yours will be there soon. |

My hubby had his interview in POS and we both attended in September 2011. They did not ask to speak to me so I just patiently waited in the adjacent building while he was interviewed. He was in with the IO for about 1.5hrs and then told we could expect a response with 3-6wks. Well in the 6th week, they sent him an email asking for the RPRF payment and his passport. So far, I have paid the fee and he will be sending his PP in a few days.
I've now been reading everything I can find about others who are at this point to see approx how long the process takes from this point to when he gets his PP back and can return to Canada. The email said he had to be landed in Canada before Jan.2011 since his medicals expire then. I'm hoping he can return before Christmas and before our baby boy is due!
