We began our ordeal in September 2010 by making our payment to CIC for the PR application.  I am canadian, my girlfriend is from New York state and we are applying outland in Buffalo.  My girlfriend's mother passed away in October, which put things on hold.  I finally got all the paperwork together and sent it off Feb 23rd. 

Best of luck to all and hope this is a great and quick experience.

Oh no now its 38days the processing time for sponsorship thingy... has gone up by 2days...........it was 36days back in January 2011  !!

I really hope to have something in the mail by late next week from Mississauga!     We are hoping to go to the US and go shopping, but scared to have my spouse leave the country and not be able to get back in (we are waiting on his 2nd visitor visa extension to come back since end november).  Once we have that hopefully it will help us cross back in together

With the e-cas messege I got, does that mean its a yes or no thats coming.... or can it mean something was missing?   Paranoid now!

I also saw my ecas this morning and it says decision made and the letter was sent but I do know couple of things were missing in my application, god knows whats in the letter now. It says, werecvd your application on Feb 3rd and the decision was made on March 1st and the letter has been sent. Lets see what it is.

Hello there, i hope you enlighten me about my case, im a FSW 2009. Applied my husband December 2010 Passport request March 1, 2011 im just wondering do i need to pay the 490CAD RPRF? since my husband had PPR already? i paid only 550CAD for the initial spousal sponsorship, do they still request me to pay 490CAD since PPR already? the letter states that only submit form A and PPR. im getting confused. some told me it slows down the process and PPR is first requested before RPRF, some says no coz im a sponsor landed immigrant. HELP please. cant wait to be in my husband arms.
