im really pissed with LBC.. i sent our papers to my husband in alberta on feb 16th, LBC told me my hubby will receive it in 4 working days and until now my it's not there yet. I called them to ask where my husband can pick it up instead and they told me they are not sure who is their shipping partner in edmonton alberta.. now we dont know where my papers were.  |

my partner is from the philippines.she sent her application to me thru LBC too.they said it will take 3-5 business days. she send it feb 11 (friday) and i recieved it feb 14(monday)..im expecting to recieve it thursday but i was surprised they were calling me on my celfon in the morning that they are outside of my apartment and i have a package from the philippines, im from edmonton too. LBC is tied up with DHL...when it gets to canada it wont be LBC anymore..it will be DHL. so better call DHL and give them the tracking #, they will look for it. you can check it online too.

my friend's (actually, my sister's friend) husband passed their application on mississauga last december (1st week).. she texts me whenever they have updates on ECAS.. for a month the ecas was idle but then when she checked on the last week of january the ecas stated that they are in the Decision Made status and on feb 1 she received an email telling her that the embassy needed her passports so that they can issue the visas (for her and her son). she sent the passports yesterday. lucky, eh?! her husband used an MP, at first I thought that maybe that was the reason why the application processed so fast but she told me that she read some people are having their PPR in a month.. and the slowest is 6 months.. i don't know yet where she read it.. what i know is that is a good news for all of us!

THEY DELIVER MONDAY THRU SATURDAY IN SOME AREAS AND MONDAY THRU FRIDAY IN OTHERS. CHECK WITH THE LOCAL DHL WAREHOUSE IF THEY OFFER SATURDAY SHIPPING BY CALLING THE TOLL-FREE NUMBER ON THE DHL WEBSITE. THEY WORK 24/7 GETTING PACKAGES FROM POINT A TO POINT B, BUT THEY DO NOT DELIVER 24/7.

Hello Everyone.
My wife mailed out the application for outland spousal sponsorship to Mississauga on 02/14/11. The package was received and signed at Mississauga on 02/15/11. I have to admit that based on the numerous posts and the fairly long processing times I have read on the forum, I really don;t know what to expect when It comes to mine. My only hope is to land by the end of 2011 in the best case scenario and remain optimistic at all times.
I live in the US so close but so far from her at the same time.
