Hi friends! By the Grace of God I got the AOR yesterday. Thanks to all friends who have best wishes for me. specially Ruka. I am now back to this [my] thread and hope it will go long way and everybuddy here will get their PR's finally. I pray for Nadeem, ryan and adam that they may get their AOR's soon.   great to hear this!! |

hi there!
i have a question. my passport will expire in december this year. can i still use it for submission of complete documents to my visa office or shall i renew it before submission? passport renewal takes about 17 working days and all of my other documents are already complete. im afraid if i wait for my new passport, review of my papers will be delayed.

People....i need some advice on what to do next: My case details:
1. Got 1st AOR in Nov '09
2. Submitted all docs, and i mean all docs, including IELTS..in Jan '10
3. 2nd AOR 21 Jan '10
4. In process on e-cas since 1st week Feb '10
5. more than 100 days in process now, no news watsoever from the CHC
6. asked my consultant to send an email, they did, BUT no response from CHC, been 20 days now
I checked and rechecked and rechecked each n every doc before submission...i made sure i had every doc whether education or work ex or PCC.....i wrote down every minutest detail of my overseas travel....im so worried now + they are not even responding to case specific email...
What can i do now?? i really wanna know if something was incorrect/missing in my application but they wont even respond !!!! is there anything i can do???

Renew NOW and bear with mere 17days of delay than more than 17days of delay to transfer your visa to a new passport. Note that you cannot travel with an expired passport even if you are a Canadian citizen. RENEW NOW. |

Regards MM If they wanted to return your file, you should have received it in 60-70 days. Now 90 days mean lot of time and besides this your DD has not yet en-cashed which really needs to worry. As there is no specific email address for CIO. Do one thing, send a post mail to CIO sydney at the same address where you couriered your application packet and explain the whole situation. I dont think u need to worry......Just check the time line of Newdelhi visa office....Most of the cases are being finalized b/w 6-8 months. Normally, what i have seen is that medical requests come after 4-6 months of 2nd AOR. So wait & relax. |

Thanks Way..1 ques though - in the AOR they said "pls contact the CHC if u don't hear from us in 90 days" so I did but they just won't respond !! Wonder why..
