Hi,
The question is about the 6-month bank account statement to be provided as part of the full docs to VO.
As instructed by CIC:
"If you have RECENTLY deposited a LARGE amount of money into your bank account, you must clearly explain the provenance of these funds."
The question is what do they mean by "RECENTLY" and "LARGE amount"?
"Recently" means how many days before the date of the account statement?
How much is considered as a large amount?
Is an amount of $12,000 made about 5 months before the statement date considered both RECENT and LARGE?

Hi! I am new here. What does AOR mean? Anyways, I sent our application to NS CIO Last January 13, 2010 but it was sent back cause it lacks the word Manila so I revised that page of my application and sent it last February 26, 2010. I am still waiting until now for the reply from CIO. As I read the responses of the other members here it seems that their application is moving faster than mine? I am a bit worried.... I hope and pray that everything will be ok.
Hi Rene, I am also from the PH. We have the same case. I re-send my application last February 24 and ti'll now there is no reply. However, I am still positive about receiving my AOR. Let's just keep on praying. My timeline, maybe Last week of April up to First week of May. Let's keep on hoping and do not lose faith. cha |

Deposits could be fixed or in current account, Bank statement from 3 to 6 months. and one bank certificate from Bank Manager that Mr. so and so holding a/c ****** , passport number ****, can withdraw amount any time. |
