Stiviri : I think I had some wrong expectations looking at your message. But then I further read your previous note and it looks like you have sent your original set long ago and on Feb 01 you send your set again with the correct credit card information.

If this is true .. when did you originally send your application?

 @  candiur: i sent the first application back on january, then the second one at the end of january but it reached their office on feb. 3, but keep your eyes open because I'm pretty sure you will get an answer soon it might not be this week probably in one or two weeks but it looks like they are working on it, as a matter of fact there was someone else on this post that got an answer from them asking to resubmit the application because they forgot to type N/A on some of the boxes, so don't worry i'm pretty sure you will be next... I got the email notification with the b number, the snail mail service here in venezuela is really horrible so I doubt that i will get the letter on regular mail... best of luck brother and don't stress to much about and everything will come out nice...

Your initial application in early january must've been the one approved so I would conservatively think that the timeline for the AOR is still 2mos. You got yours on mar 5 2010 or just 30 days from feb 3 2010 if the second application was considered.

BUT....

GODLOVEME whose initial application was on January 27 2010 go this AOR on March 03, 2010, that’s just for 37 Days where usually it takes 60-78 days since August 2009. And some January 2010 applicants got their AORs earlier than 60 days

AORs & resends are getting faster guys!! They even reconsider "resends" a lot more nowadays.

hello all

I have applied as an accountant in feb 2010 this month. whatever i have shown as experince is true. I am working in my company from last three year as an accountant . The doucment which i will submit with my qualification & workexperince are
1----All the bank statement of last three year which showing the amount of salary credit in my bank account along with my company name
2---I got my experience letter , appraisal letter, & promotion letter, salary slip & form no-16 & moreever my Income tax return also shows the salary income from my company
3----I did photocopy of my company access card with my photo & the name of company
4---I will attach the memorandum of article which shows the genuinety of company & the borchure of companies projects which are going on
5---I will attach Companies provident fund return in which my name also mentioned that shows that my provident fund also deducted
6---I have the provident fund receipt which i have recieved from provident fund office ( that is government document which will support my case)


Now my question is this after submitting all these document will they do enquiry in my office Actually My all experince letter, appraisal letter & salary slips are signed by my CFO ( chief financial officer) . Now i had a quarrel with him . I afraid that if they call my cfo then he may be give negative reply . I think when i will submit all the documents which shows that i am working in the company then why they enquire. MAy be they will enquire about my job duties that i have shown in my application.

I know that background check done after medical can any body tell me that in what time period enquiry will done by department for one month or how much days so i can take care of that fro the same period

Hey Bundpaadbanda,

You will most probably be sending the documents to your Visa Office sometime April or May and medical request on June if lucky so IF background check is done after medicals it should be around June 2010 all depending. 1month after sending full documents then you will receive your medical request.

Patch things up with your CFO, I know a few whom they called the one who signed on the work reference letters. I'll pray for your success.

great job big mike, yes i believe you are correct it is still 2 months if they took the one I sent on january, but like you said canadianwannabe got a reply soon so i believe they are working in all of our cases right now again good luck to everyone....

I am tracking all Nov/Dec/Jan applicants .. YellowTopaz who has the package received on 15th Jan got AOR on 5th Mar.

Stiviri - is a resend of application so probably got spared and got early in a months time.
canadianwannabe - had some missing fields.

Quote can be moderated by seniors .. - But my limited knowledge in this area tells me that cic is doing a dry screening of applicants initially before they actually get into it. So in the Feb team they should have screened all applicants till 12/13/14 th feb. This is a reason to enjoy since there has been no communication till now. That is also the reason wrong credit card cases and "N/A" applicants got notified.


So there is still time to chill out .. before the huddle

Dear Friends,

 10 th Feb was when I mailed my applicatiin by Registered post. I did not courier it , so no way of tracking if/when the CIO received it.
I am from Sri Lanka. How long do you think it would take for regular post to reach Canada ?
So in a nutshell, the date displayed in BM's list againsrt me, is not when CIC received my pack.
