Congrats Idas!! 3.5 months time for MR.

I think MR processing is really dependent on the Visa Office and the complexity and completeness of your application (e.g. with spouse/children/common-law partner) and the number of employers.

Manila VO has around 2months-3months time processing but I know of someone who got their MR after 10 days of its 2nd AOR.

Bigmike, this is because of the Background check...depending if a person had been to too many countries and with same name of people with criminal records will take a while longer.  But these past month London VO is very slow not like Manila VO. Only this week i've seen more activities.

Dont worry, IELTS would make things faster, there has been no such proof for this assumption. as one of the members said that travel records, more family members and dependents makes the process slower. your score is fine, 10 out of 16 looks fair enough.

They ask for PoF again just to make sure as one of the members said, to check if the money showed by you earlier was real and still staying at the same place. They do it coz a handful of people borrow $ from from others during making PoF and later return that $ to the lender. Only your wife and kids are your dependents. Canadian immigration considers dependents in cases like if you got your old mum or dad or may be an adopted child who has only you in this world.

Congrats nadeem. It all depends on the discretion of VO. As [Pakistani] we are new to CHC London. So its difficult to predict when they put each one "In Process" after rec. by visa office status. But you will better get to know by the list where we all are get connected. Let me give you the link of the thread. Just register yourself there.

thanks jnathan, My IELTS score is L - 7, R - 7.5, W - 6, S - 6.5, Over All - 7. My NOC is 0213. I have completed M.Sc. (MCA) and i have never traveled abroad before. Hope this give you a clear idea of my case.

I travel to malaysia, nepal, india. i dont find any option to mention that travel details. i am confused now , can u please let me know whether i  made any mistake to fillup the form ? i am in tensed now....

According to CIC's requirements, one must reveal about his travel history in the form.
One could be asked later on if CIC finds your travel info from those countries.
you might even never be asked at all.
