I cannot believe those guys. 30 minutes ago a lady from FEDEX gr was trying to convince me that "we cannot open an account for you for importing something from abroad, only to send. Your only choice is to provide us with the name and phone number of the person who wants to send you something and we will arrange to pick it up"....

I will call them again... unbelievable greece...

_______

About the mail... I was just told that first class mail is the cheapest available (30 cents)This is not true....postage for a normal letter costs more than 30cents and there is nothing lower than this. Is this true? What is this "regular mail"This is just like mailing a normal letter without any tracking provisions from US to Greece i read in a previous post? too confusing!

hehe! why on A4? My mistake I should have told you what we are sending Smiley We are sending 2 papers with the fingerprints, plus 2 application forms plus a cover letter explaining why we do not provide a social security number etc. I am very bad at calculating weight though!

Sorry, my mistake, I misread your post....I thought you were asking how much the FBI cert would weigh.

A4 size paper would weigh approx 5 g *3= 15g
and the Fingerprint card weighs a little more or approx the same.

hm, if so it would all add up to no more than 2 oz and that would cost 1.82 dollars with usps. it won't be covered by the FBI? could i just include the cash or something like that? i might try with those coupons although   i don't see the FBI bothering themselves with exchanging the coupons for stamps

When you send somebody a letter, you pay the postage. FBI will not pay any extra postage neither will they bother with coupons. Cash?? is a big NO.

but this contradicts with what you said earlier. You said they WILL pay (actually they have already paid) for regular mail, right?
