I got a letter from FBI that my fingerprints are not good enough and I have to re-do it again. It takes 12-13 weeks to get a certificate after you apply to FBI. If I send it again, I will be late to submit the FBI clearance to Visa Office.

What to do? Please tell me.

p.s. My spouse get it without any problem. But the lines in my hand are not sharp enough.

Call FBI Customer support  and discuss your situation with them.  I had some issue with my wife finger print report , we applied together and my wife's report lost in transit . I called the customer support and they asked me to send a fax with  details. They are very friendly..

I have faced this, and here it is what I did;

My wife's fingerprints were rejected twice, third time I sent
- two copies of finger print
- two copies of processing fees (two forms for processing for two finger prints)
- I hope you remember that we need to fill out a form with our address, purpose, etc. It has a section in the bottom where we can ask them to process it faster than normal time by sharing a reason, so fill that.
- I added a letter also where I wrote in detail why I need it urgently.
- on the envelop (next to address), I wrote a message - Urgent & reason for urgent processing.
I got report in 3 weeks; but I had planned to send full document with in 120 days if I had not got it before end of 120 days;
worst case, if you do not get report before end of 120 days, add a letter to VO and mention them that you have already applied & waiting for the report and will send asap once you get it. This is normal for VO, they are aware that it takes time & sometime people need to submit fingerprint more than once.

good luck.
