Hello,
I submitted my application for FBI police report (fingerprint, application, payment, etc) to FBI 5 weeks ago by Fedex and I know that my application was received by them via Fedex tracking. I understand the waiting time can be up to 8 weeks. However, I have no clue whether or not they have processed my request. Is there a way that I can follow up on my FBI record request? I searched for this in their website but I have found no related info. If I still hear nothing from them after 8 weeks, what should I do?
Thank you very much for your advice.

PS: I also requested a police record for my stay in France, they replied via email after 1 day saying that they treated my request and I received 3 copies of my record from them  1 week after with no cost!!! Tongue Tongue

I am afraid there are no ways to inquire about the status of your application. I was in the same boat couple of months ago. It took 5 weeks for me to receive the report from the US.

Thanks

Hi Friends,

USA and France....no comparisons.... Lips sealed

Anyways good news is you can contact to get the status of your application....they are extremely polite (telephonic or by email) and respond to your query within 24 hrs. Also, they entertain your request if you have a genuine reason, like immigration deadline....just politely make your request (Personal experience).

Here is the information to contact by email/Fax #:

The form can also be faxed to (304) 625-9792, or scanned and sent via e-mail to liaison @ leo.gov.
