how much time do they generally take to issue PCC???

Should generally take between 16-18weeks.

I had to call them several times, since we had one mail with fingerprints which they claim they never received
so I had to resend everything to them with new fees

barsindoo the information you gave is extremely incorrect, I just got mine back from FBI and it took a total of 3 weeks.

i GOT THE INFORMATION FROM CIC site. I don't claim to be the FBI. Kindly go through the site where the information was extracted from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/united-states.asp

just because it is written in the cic website it doesnt make it the truth of the reality. it doesnt take 18 weeks, it is currently taking 3 weeks (this is for the record).

called FBI to check my status...they told me that they mailed my PCC last week. They took 3 weeks for my PCC.

Doesn't take that long for FBI PCC if you are in the US, it takes usually about 3 to 5 weeks to receive response from FBI.
