My children have requested for FBI identification record on August 4th 2010. Is there anyone who recently requested such record and received them. What are current lead times? I have to submit them to Canada Immigration by 1st week of October. My residence visa is pending for this submission

I put in a request for FBI clearance in Dec 2009.  Got it back in March 2010.  They really take the full 3 months noted in the website.

PCC are nor required at this time. CIO changed it rules again on August 23, 2010


I applied for FBI report on July 1, 2010

I got my report back on August 26, 2010

It took little less than 2 months.

Thanks friends for your replies. Canadian Highcommission London requested for this certificates as a last step. I have completed my medical on August 12th. As my kids stayed in USA more than 6 months, CHC wants FBI identification record. They mentioned a deadline of October 15th for this. Hopefully, we should meet the deadline as my kids applied for FBI identification records during August First week
