Oh no! I just sent my application in today but just remembered about the validity of the FBI fingerprints. We received my husbands fingerprints on Dec 29, 2010 but it's really bordering the 3 month validity mark. Does anyone think it'll be a problem?! I'm getting stressed now  Huh

No, as long as they are no more than 3 months old (from the date of the letter from FBI), you will be fine.

Crud, didn't think about that. Ours were done in Jan. Paperwork should hopefully get to them by the 28th of March. I really hope that it's all okay.

Well this is terrible. Here the FBI stuff is supposed to be good for 1 year. Why will they be only good to Canada for 3 months?

Ours are closing in on that day but we wont be ready to submit everything for at least another week and a half. Anyone have any advice?

They must be under 3 months old when submitted to CPC-M.  Once submitted to Mississauga within that time range, then they are valid for a year.  If processing of your case takes more than a year, you can be asked to re-new the police checks, but the American office timeline is 11 months from start to finish, and that is for 80% of cases, many are completed in far less time than that.  Don't stress it that much.
