i would just like to share my timeline to those who are interested:
march 30 - application form sent to CIO nova scotia
may 27 - 120 days notice received,for the original docs to be submitted to manila office
july 10 - original documents lodged in canadian embassy office in manila
august 5 - medical request and RPRF notice received
aug 27 - medical exam done
november 13- PPR notice rceived
...waiting for passport with the visa on it!!
to everyone who has the same experience ,,keep holding and goodluck pray hard..

Here is my timeline:
August 27, 2009 - Mississauga office received our sponsorship appl
September 24, 2009- Sponsorship application was approved.
October 16, 2009 - Permanent residence appl was changed to "in process"
October 20,2009 - received request for my orig. passport and advisory of marriage
(letter dated oct. 16 '09)
October 21, 2009 - husband received RPR fee request
November 3, 2009 - embassy received my passport and advisory of marriage

we have the same time line I submitted my passport last Oct 28. I hope that ppt with visa will arrive before the winter olympics. i can't wait to be reunited with my hubby and son in Vancouver.
waiting time is torturing me!!!

my cousin filed my papers last september but until now i haven,t received any file number or confirmation from the embassy.. should my cousin in Canada must follow it up or we just have to wait? Thanks.. I'm just getting worried..

Mine is also under Spouse sponsorship category, but been waiting for quite a while now... not really sure what to do next.
June 9, 2009 - application form sent to CIC Mississauga (medicals & paperwork all done, all fees paid!)
June 11, 2009 - CIC Mississauga recieved
July 20, 2009 - Sponsorship approved...Original documents sent to CIC manila
July 27, 2009 - AOR received date
Aug 4, 2009 - Passport requested
Aug 7, 2009 - Passport hand delivered to Makati office in Manila
until now, we haven't received any response from the immigration yet... I just pray that my wait will be finished.... does anyone know if the PR applicant from the Phils can apply for a tourist visa and come here while the PR is 'in process'...
