hi,
it doesn't have to be a photocopy of the application form sent to sydney. you can fill up another form but be careful you fill up the same answers and if there are significant changes you have to provide a letter identifying the changes.
your IETS score taken after sending your application to sydney would be 1 change you indicte in your cover letter.

Thanks Jtob,
In my case, I already have IELTS (Appeared on Sep, 2008) score card and sufficient points to support my application. I have an understanding that I can use this IELTS test result in my application that I am planning to submit on Apr, 2009 from India.
As such, I personally know that nothing will change in next few months (the date of submitting application to Sydney Office and (after 120 days) to submit application to visa office @ New Delhi). Because I am claiming maximum possible points in all factors (my age, Education, English language, Work experience and Adaptability)

Clarification required for below mentioned lines: (From name : EG7.pdf, Page 24 ) Note: If you need more space for any section, use an extra sheet of paper and indicate the number and/or letter of the section you are completing and submit it along with your application.
My questions are 1. In this scenario, will I have to make proper table structure (wrt to from) in blank A4 size paper and mention all extra information. or 1. Take another print out of same page from application forms and fills information wrt to require questions.
For example: Schedule 1 BackgroundDeclaration [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1] (imm0008_1e) Question 11. Personal history. For a person, if Personal histroy information are too much (more than 5 rows) and not coming in imm0008_1e/Page2. How will he use use extra sheet?

Please I would appreciate it if someone advice me on this issue:
Checklist: TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND PASSPORTS On the requirement it only states:
• Passports or travel documents for you, your spouse or and your dependent children. Include only copies of pages showing the passport number, date of issue and expiry, your photo, name, date and place of birth. • If you live in a country different from your nationality, include a photocopy of your visa for the country where you currently live. • You must hold a valid regular passport; diplomatic, official, service or public affairs passports are not valid for immigration to Canada
Please I would like to find out if my Partner (common-law partner) will I need to send his visa page copy too?as he is not the principal applicant because we are both foreigners living in London. and my partner has no visa in his passport but i have. please help!

Hello ,
i am new in this forum. I am working in US in H1B for 3 years almost after finishing my masters from US university. I am in IT field and my job code is "2172" in NOC list. Among the 38 occupations list, I checked with 0213 (the IT manager). If you search with this 0213 in NOC, they are showing a lot of things. At bottom of that page, under the "Classfied elsewhere", my job code is listed. What does it mean?My total point is 77. But still i am not able to understand whether i am coming under those 38 occupations. please let me know. thanks

1) I am in USA right now ( originally from India) and i have got my masters degree in US. Do i still need IELTS?
2) If i write IELTS exam and get good score, what is the maximum point i can get?
2) My brother in law (wife's brother) is in Canada. Do i get points for that?
3) While i was a student i used to work as TA during Fall/Spring and part time lecturer during Summers. Will that count towards my point.
Thanks for the info you have been providing to all of us

1) Probably yes. 2) 16 on the CIC point system. 3) I believe so. But you can check this on the CIC website where you figure out your points. 4) Yes. I don't know if it has to be more than 1 year at a time.

I am not an expert at Canadian Immigration. Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

This is what I read on Visa-Office spacific forms for my country:
EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS For you, your spouse or common-law partner and your dependent children: • Post-secondary education documents: vocational or technical certificates or diplomas. •College or university documents: diplomas. Also submit transcripts listing subjects taken. Proof of incomplete and current studies is also required. • Professional qualifications certificates: notarized photocopies of professional qualifications certificates should be submitted if available (examples of professional designations include Engineers, Computer Programmers, Accountants Economists, Translator/Interpreters, Architects).
Questions:
1) Does it mean that I need to submit original diplomas? 2) They also don't mention translation of the documents. Does it mean that you just need to submit copies of documents without translation if you sending them to the embassy in your country?
Thanks

Dear forum members,
I have a question and i would apreciate if anyone can update me on it. I recently applied under FSW category on 13/03/2009, on required application forms there is a column which requires you to tick in case you want to recieve offical correspondence from sydney office through email. I deliberatly ticked that column in order to recieve quicker replies (although i also enclosed with my application self addressed labels) My question is HAS ANYONE EVER RECIEVED EMAIL CORESPONDENCE BEFORE FROM SYDNEY CIC?
Best Regards, jhasan
