Hi,
On 26th NOC was changed!

I was planning to apply into 4131, but now it is not available in new NOC list.
How can i apply? Any suggestion?

Look for jobs in Canada. maybe go study in canada, look for PNP possibilities or QSW. Good luck.

English as your first language and French as your second language or French as your first language and English as your second language.

Dear maaties,
I was surfing the net when I found that for "Investors, entrepreneurs and self-employed persons" they have closed the gates on 26th june however for this class they are saying that
CIC has temporarily stopped accepting applications for the federal immigrant investor program. Only applications postmarked or received before June 26, 2010, will be processed. This pause will continue until certain regulatory amendments come into force later this year. Check this page for updates.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/investors/index.asp
 Shocked
Now, what I donot understand is ...... For this category they are going by "postmark" but for FSW1 they are going by "receiving date"
Is'nt it unfair?Huh?
any comments...............

According to the rules, they say they are going by received date but I hope they end up going by postmark date.

There is no CIC format. Only that it must contact certain information. The first or the second page of this thread should have the said information. It is something like job title, duties, salaries, job start and end date, etc but I do not remember it exactly. Good luck.

Dear Maaties,

I have one question which is Off the Track.

I will be landing in Toronto on 5th July. Prior to this ii had applied for immigrating to Australia. But due to change of rules on 28th September 2009, my file got stuck. I am in the last stage and my application in with DIAC.

I have been with an immigration consultant that was processing my case. Now i want to know that how will i know in case the DIAC wants to cap my application and refund my fees. Is there any way by which i can be directly notified of the capping of my application in case the consultant does not let me know(although i do not have much doubt on him)

I am sorry, I know nothing about Australian immigration (don't even know what DIAC is). Is there no online status check for Oz immigration? The only advice I can say is to post this on an Australian immigration forum. I believe trackitt.com has an Oz section. Good luck. Sorry i cannot be of more help.

Thanks. I hope the allmighty blesses you and all here.
My case is "received by the visa office" since Feb 2009. I am thinking of sending them a letter to see what is happening but on the other hand, if I am going to go through the process, I may want to delay it as much as possible so I don't have to go live in Canada now.

I am not sure that I want to go to Canada now. In fact, I know I want to go elsewhere, hopefully a developing country. I can go to Canada in 4 years or so.

The only way is to delete your post in that thread but I think the ability to delete only exists for couple of hours after the message is posted.
