If somebody with 2-3 years experience under 0111 was denied, it would have been for some other reason than "just" having 2-3 experience under 0111 because 1 year is enough.  Either they failed to get a total of 67 or more points or they failed to prove that their experience was really under 0111.

I agree. I also wanted to add, it could be the case the person shows only 3 years of experience in their life and it would be hard to believe that one could have 1 year of 0111 experience prior to which they only worked for 2 years. The reason being 0111 is management level.

0111 is not just manager level category. If you read the link below you can see that Accountants are also eleigible to apply. I have also copy pasted the list under 0111.

Employment requirements

• Chartered accountants require a university degree
        and
  Completion of a professional training program approved by a provincial institute of chartered accountants and, depending on the province, either two years or 30 months of on-the-job training
        and
  Membership in a provincial Institute of Chartered Accountants upon successful completion of the Uniform Evaluation (UFE).
• Certified general accountants and certified management accountants require a university degree
        and
  Completion of a training program approved by the Society of Certified General Accountants or Society of Management Accountants and several years of on-the-job training
        and
  Certification by the Certified General Accountants Association or the Society of Management Accountants.
• Auditors require education, training and recognition as indicated for chartered accountants, certified general accountants or certified management accountants
        and
  Some experience as an accountant.
• Auditors may require recognition by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
• To act as a trustee in bankruptcy proceedings, auditors and accountants must hold a licence as a trustee in bankruptcy.
• Licensing by the provincial or territorial governing body is usually required for accountants and auditors practising public accounting.

hi Maaties,

its a great post as i see, i get alot of benifit from it ,

i wounder to ask how can get some details about the permanent job offer from HRSDC for the IT Managers, & how i can get one , becuase i am looking to increse my points i have ( 63 ) point , below is my details :

1. I Work as IT Manager for 8+ years full time contract,
2. I Have Bachelor degree in Computer sciences, ( 4 Years University Degree ) ,
3. I have IELTS exam result at ( 20/May/2010 ) = 5 point,
4. I have many IT certifications like ( PMP , ITIL, Microsoft MCSE, Microsoft MCSA, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft CCNP & others),
5. I am 31 years old , married with 2 kids ( 3 Years old & 8 Months ),
6. My Wife is working as Math Teacher for 5+ Years & Computer Training for 2+ Years ( Full Time Contract ) ,
7. She have Educational degree ( 4 Years University Degree ),
8. We don't have any relative in Canada,

& about my points if i apply to the skilled workers , do you think that i have a chance or i need to increse my points 1st,


onf final questions , about my IT certifications like Cisco, Microsoft, PMP & other is this certs give me extra point ?

no points for certificates. You have to do job search on canadian websites. Good luck. What work does your wife do? perhaps she can look for job too.

I have only searched for academic jobs at universities and these sites i know are specific for that.
You should improve your IELTS score. Someone got almost rejected for low scores recently.
