Grin Grin Grin

sorry, in MI3 you dont need to notarized anything except translation copy. thanks

Thanks for your concern. But in the guide still it says in Step 1: Gather documents: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp
Translation of documents

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document.
Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit.

Important information. Translations by family members are not acceptable.

Certified true copies

To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:

“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
the name of the original document,
the date of the certification,
his or her name,
his or her official position or title, and
his or her signature.
Who can certify copies?

Persons authorized to certify copies include the following:

In Canada:

a commissioner of oaths
a notary public
a justice of the peace
Outside Canada:

a judge
a magistrate
a notary public
an officer of a court of justice
a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the person is living
Family members may not certify copies of your documents.

Please assist us showing the link where it is written that no notarization is needed for documents except translated copies?
Thanks for your assistance in advance.

I heard about it also from some other persons in this forum that no need to notarize. Okay, may be its true but must have a written explanation in the site. The information I shared with you is copied from the cic site, just guideline. However, you notice it is not clearly stated that you must notarize the photocopy of the document. It says what to do in case of notarizing. A bit confusing indeed. Let's see what other says.

i am sorry to say, your Canadian solicitor isn't correct. you should have sent notarized docs. one post june2010 applicant (Ziaul bhai) sent unnotarized docs and he had been selected for Interview by Singapore VO.

whatever ,what i've been advised is in MI3 post june 2011 , no need to notarized except any transalation copy. but i had to do board/university verify of all educatonal docs which was very painful ,notary would have been easier than that. however im not a bit worried. dear sirs,
on the website cic.gc.ca
under the section immigrate there is next option skilled worker etc.
under skilled workers there are few questions like who can apply etc
my question is can i apply for  PR in federal skilled worker migration program if i have arranged job letter but my category does not fall in list of 29 categories i would like to copy paste the exact wording on the website for reference

Is my application eligible for processing?

For your application to be eligible for processing, you must include the results of your official language proficiency test, and fall into one of these three categories:

Skilled workers with a valid offer of arranged employment.

International students enrolled in a PhD program at a provincially or territorially recognized private or public post-secondary educational institution in Canada who:

have completed at least two years of study towards a PhD
are in good academic standing at the time they apply
are not recipients of an award requiring them to return to their home country to apply their knowledge and skills, OR
International students who graduated from a PhD program at a provincially or territorially recognized private or public post-secondary educational institution in Canada who:

graduated no more than 12 months before the date their application is received
did not receive an award which required them to return to their home country to apply their knowledge and skills (or did, but have satisfied the terms of the award).
(A maximum of 1,000 applications from this category will be considered for processing each year. This will not be included in the total for any other cap. Applications will be considered in order they are received. The first cap year for the PhD stream begins on November 5, 2011.)

Skilled workers with one year of continuous full-time or equivalent part-time paid work experience in at least one of the following eligible occupations within the last ten years:

by the way i am asking this question on behalf of my cousin who is a BUS DRIVER IN AUSTRALIA his visa status is TR

You need to check whether the offered job (arranged employment) falls under any NOC.

For your ready reference, the link is given below:

Hope this will address your concern.

HI
WHEN ASKED BY THE IMMIGRATION OFFICER , I SENT THE PASSPORTS OF MYSELF AND MY FAMILY. IT ALSO INCLUDED THE PASSPORT OF MY ELDER SON WHO IS STUDYING IN CANADA AND WHO HAD SENT HIS PASSPORT THROUGH COURIER AS WE WERE REQUIRED TO SEND ALL THE PASSPORTS AS A PACKAGE. AFTER GETTING OUR PASSPORTS BACK WITH VISA, WE ALL WILL GO TO CANADA FOR LANDING BUT WHAT ABOUT MY SON WHO IS ALREADY IN CANADA AND WHOSE PASSPORT WILL BE WITH US. WHAT ABOUT HIS LANDING. WILL IT BE STAMPED WHEN WE ENTER CANADA OR WHAT?

Photocopies must be notarized///please go to the guideline, you will find answer.

I don't think so. Copies of some docs do not mean to be notarized. I sent my docs un-notarized, both original and updated. I had no translated doc though.
