Yes. the UCI# is the application identity in the Canadian Immigration Database. It will remain there forever. The Application No. is what gonna be changed with each application.

I have a question regarding Immigration File Number..

Do you have any idea about why some Immigration File Numbers do not change in the 2nd AOR..Basically, in my 1st AOR, it reflects  the same Immigration File Number as in my 2nd AOR.

My application status "In process" has been changed to "Decision Made". Can anybody tell me what does it mean. The visa office has not asked for medical yet. "Decision Made" status is for more than 6 weeks and I have not received anything from the VO. If I click on the "Decision Made" the last status is "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." I am really confused. If any body can suggest me what to do?

First of all, what is your NOC and when did you apply?
"Decision Made" before medical means "Rejection". Was you status "In process" before changed into "decision made"?
you would probably get a letter regarding this from Singapore VO within a month or 2

I will like my wife to apply as a cook under FSW with the following information below:
Reference letter from her place of work
Payslip( though she is been paid by cash in hand)
Tax return for 2010
Will all this mentioned above be enough to prove that she is an experienced cook?
Does it matter the kind of delicacies she specialise on?
Note: She has a university degree in accounting which she got 5 years ago.

please advice whether or not I can apply. After finishing 12th (2002) standard I did 1 year certificate course (2001) in welding and worked as welder for next two years. Then I went to university for further studies where I did bachelors and Masters in IT. My question is that am I still eligible for applying under NOC for welder, as I may fulfil the requirements. 2) In application form what would be the highest level education I would mention as if i'm applying as welder (13 years full time) or I can include masters as well (18 year full time). will this effects my application adversely.
please reply,,, rest every thing is ready for my application like IELTS (8,7,7,6.5), police clearance (AFP). secondly I want to enquire about POF as I'm applying Australia, I need  $18000 approx. to show and the problem is that around $6000 recently credited to my account, is there any possibility that immigration authorities arise question about that, as I know its genuine and not borrowed. please guide me, looking forward for some serious advice.

1) You can try as a Welder, the criteria is that you have at least 1 year experience in the last 10.  Another question is if they will accept a 1 year certificate course because in Canada surely it is a 3 or 4 year apprenticeship to become a welder.

2) Mention all the education you have for points.  It is not a requirement that you are still working as a welder so you are allowed to get points for other skilled work experience and other education that happened later.

3) For proof of funds, look at the requirements specific to your visa office.  Some want account statements back in time and some don't.

thanks leon, thanks for replying. Actually back in India, Diploma to be a welder is of 1 year only and I have experience of over 2 years as a welder. thanks for clarifying my doubts. good luck n best wishes.
