For Educational credentials...do we need to submit the copies of degrees and marksheets also
or just the sealed transcripts from the university will do?

my sister has again sit in ielts exams and today she got result, her result is:
listening ......4.5 band
speaking......5.5 band
writing.........5.5 band
reading.........4 band
overall...........5 band
points for ielts.....6 points
plz...................
tell me that for noc code 1221 is it ok...as here,on this forum all u people and senios here advises me to sit again in ielts and my sister did so.but today she got results and 2 are moderate an 2 are basic... last time she had low in all 4 components..but now it is her full effort...plz tell me is it ok now...plz plz pzl really i m waiting for ur replies.......
plz plz answer...........dont ignore my question...and really she cant again take more than it...bcz it was her full effort...she has arranged employment

Her listening and reading marks are too poor,i guess she has to sit again. If your agent gives u 100% guarantee that her IELTS will do then he is telling this only for his business purpose. |

Below is IELTS Test Score equivalncy chart which states against what score of yours you will get how many points:
Language: English
Listening / Reading / Writing / Speaking :You get following points
7.5 to 9.0 Bands / 6.5 to 9.0 Bands / 6.5 to 9.0 Bands / 6.5 to 9.0 Bands : 4
5.5 to 7.0 Bands / 5.0 to 6.0 Bands / 5.5 to 6.0 Bands / 5.5 to 6.0 Bands : 2
4.5 to 5.0 Bands / 3.5 to 4.5 Bands / 4.0 to 5.0 Bands / 4.0 to 4.0 Bands : 1
Less than 4.5 / Less than 4.5 / Less than 4.5 / Less than 4.5 : 0
Assume your IELTS score for Listening is 4, Reading is 5.5, Writing is 5 and Speaking is 8, so you get score of 0+2+1+4 = 7

Hello Seniors and Experts in this forum,
I would like to ask these few things;
1. Do we need to have passport for each members of our family even if they are not accompanying? My mother will not be accompanying me, however she will have problem getting passport due to discrepancies in name and right now it takes 3 months to get passport in Philippines cuz we are transitioning to a new electronic passport. My mom will probably take 1 month correcting her name and 3 months getting passport----I am 95% ready with my docs and ready to submit to CIO.........but if I will wait for my mom's passport, I maybe lodging next year. I'm worried of the quota and I want to lodge as fast.
2. Is it okay if my settlement fund will be half cash and half asset? Can any third party assess my property's value, like a private assessment company?
Your insights will be highly appreciated.

Hi Your post has a ambiguous wording.. what you meant to say was that we need to send the docs only 1 time and too only to the CIO and not to the VO as per the new process after June 26 2010 |

I don't think so. I think it has to be only post-secondary, i.e., tertiary diplomas and transcripts. I am not sure, I may have sent in a copy of my secondary certificate because it indicates English first language. |

Hi Maaties, I have a question about applying before June 26th. My docs were delivered on June 1st to CIO. My card was charged on August 8th for the amount. But yesterday I got my application back as incomplete. My NOC was 1111 so I know it is no longer in the list. Does this mean my application is done or should I resend the missing docs? I did not include a background declaration for my spouse    Thanks for your answer! |
