Why does it have to be within a year?  Immigration is a long term project as I am sure you have seen from the process of your family.  If your parents go to Manitoba or Saskatchewan and live there for a year, they may be able to sponsor you and your spouse and child under the provincial nominee program family stream.  That is really the only way to sponsor an adult child.  If you happen to have another close relative already in either of those provinces for a year, they can sponsor you right away if you both qualify.

Apart from that, you can look at other immigration programs like the federal skilled worker program, Quebec skilled worker program or provincial nominee programs.  For FSW, you may need a job offer and for PNP's you usually need a job offer unless you are coming as an investor or being sponsored by family.  You can look at all these programs starting from here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

AEO=arranged employment offer - LMO=labour market opinion
CEC=Canadian experience class - PNP=provincial nominee program
