Maybe your uncle can sponsor you under family stream, see http://www.immigration.gov.sk.ca/Default.aspx?DN=ac7e22f9-6b46-48fd-b5d7-cc7c01447482&Anc=7e8f4b1d-79b4-4120-8b3a-599d97fc7875&Pa=ebd9edd0-fecd-4503-b6f7-70a7366de4c4

well so you can explain this request from this page http://www.immigration.gov.sk.ca/Default.aspx?DN=ac7e22f9-6b46-48fd-b5d7-cc7c01447482&Anc=7e8f4b1d-79b4-4120-8b3a-599d97fc7875&Pa=ebd9edd0-fecd-4503-b6f7-70a7366de4c4

6.Have a full-time, permanent job offer from a Saskatchewan Employer. (Live-in caregivers cannot apply under this category.) or intend to find full-time, permanent work in Saskatchewan and have enough money to live in the province for a short time without work after arrival ($10,000 for you and $2,000 for each accompanying family member).

The key word here is the or.  You either need a job offer or you need to have money to support yourself while you look for a job.

Exactly it is either or ,That is stating you have a job offer OR enough money to support yourself temporarily.Basic simple English which you will need anyway OR is different from AND It is one or the other not And  which is both

Hi..
I am so amazed by the way people here respond with inquiries..this is the reason why I am so brave to write also about mine. I am sponsored by my Canadian bf as common law wife. We have been together over 1 year and we submitted our papers. After 6 mos since April this year 2008 this is what e-cas says:

We received your application for permanent residence on April 23, 2008.

We started processing your application on May 29, 2008.

We received the requested information on September 18, 2008. Thank you for providing the information.

We transferred your application to the local CIC office on October 23, 2008. The local CIC office may contact you.

The local CIC office received your application for permanent residence from the Case Processing Centre on November 4, 2008. The local CIC office will now continue to process the application.

My problem is our papers are over 6 mos the time line for sponsorship and my husband's application to sponsor is transferred also in the local office.I have been hoping I will be given a work permit as I attached the application forms once the sponsorship is approved.Do you think he will be refused as a sponsor? When I called the call center cic.. they said it will take 24 mos from October 24 6 mos after we submitted our papers to know if he is eligible to sponsor or now..why is this so? I thought the first stage approval is 6 to 8 mos..well.. now I don't know what to think anymore...

Thanks a lot and if anybody has a kind heart to reply pls I appreciate it very much..and by the way, I was out of status already even before she sponsored me... thanks again..
