Hi there

I have a friend in an Asian country who wants to go to Canada.
The trouble is his brother was once in Canada few years ago and was deported for some reason. My friend doesn't know
why, as his brother doesn't wan to talk about it . He thinks it could be overstay.

Now could my friend apply to Canada as a student? would he be rejected ?

Sure he can apply.  It was his brother who was deported not him.  It wouldn't be rejected for his brother, but he still has to qualify.
