 Hello,
My family and I are trying to immigrate to Canada under the Invester category.
My dad is a high-class manager at an electronics company in Korea and so our family has enough money to be considered for immigration (even under the new investor criteria (~120K) that had been proposed).

 My question is,
does my dad have to quit his job once PR is granted, that is, does he have to stay in Canada no matter what? or can he work in Korea for the 2-year period and return to Canada for few days and go back and work for another 2 straight years again?

 thanks

Once get PR he can stay anywhere in the world. If he stay more than 3 years outside Canada in 5 years, then he will lose his PR. But after 5 years he will get his money back no matter even if he lost his PR.
