I already submitted my applications for sponsoring parents in CPC- Mississuaga on March this year but I haven't heard a reply from them. I heard that it will take 10 years to sponsor parents right now. Is it true? What if I don't want to continue the sponsorship? Does the CPC- Mississauga will refund me? I have the other options to sponsor my Mom under live in caregiver. My mom is a registered nurse in the Philippines. She is 53 years old. She has been working more than 15 years in the Government as a DOH Representative. Does she qualify for a LIVE IN CAREGIVER? I am planning to hire my Mom under LIVE IN CAREGIVER. Is that the best way to sponsor her to speed up the application? I heard that it will take 3 to 6 months to sponsor a Live in Caregiver outside the Philippines. Mom could go to Dubai & she can process her application in there. Need more infos guys... Thanks..

1.  You won't hear anything from Mississauga for at least 23 months.  If you withdraw before assessment, you will get $475 of the $550 back.
2.  If the sponsorship is approved, applications already processed in Manila are taking 12-18 months.  http://tinyurl.com/2bucdj
3.  I would not count on your mother being approved as a LCG to work for you.
