Family Class Sponsorship

I Sponsored my family for Canadian Immigration (Father, mother and younger brother < 22 years old), Mississauga approved the case in July 2006 the process was started on November 28, 2006 in Islamabad.
My family went through with medical formalities in month of October 2008, after that we did not hear anything from CHC ISB, so sent an email to them.

I got reply back from CHC ISB stating that a letter was sent to us in Karachi-Pakistan on December 02 2008, which we never received
Anyway they asked me to send proof of relationship and Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
(Canadian dollars)
I made the payment for RPRF and the family sent the proof of relationship along with receipt of payment for (RPRF), however I missed place my Birth Certificate, so instead I sent copy of high school certificate along with copy of Pakistan ID card
My question is about timeline, how long should I wait to send email to CHC ISB and would high school certificate would show relationship to my father?

I would appreciate if someone can help me with this inquiry, thanks
