Family and FSW application together???

Hi,

Is it possible to have a FSW and family class PR application running simultaneously together. I have already applied last Nov as FSW. I recently got married to a canadian citizen. Can i apply again as family class if my wife sponsors me? Thanks.

Yes, your wife can sponsor you under family class, even with an FSW application in process.  With that said, however, I have read cases on CanLII where persons who applied under FSW but were rejected who later or concurrently applied under Family Class were placed under increased scrutiny because the previous application indicated an interest in immigrating, so CIC questioned their motives in marrying their Canadian spouse.
