Hi Guys,

I completed by Masters from one of Ontario's University in last summer and its been a year now. I have been doing a part time temporary job in my own field in Nova Scotia since then. Since I dont think my job will get converted into full time or permanent position so I'm moving to ONtario next month.

I would be applying PR under opportunities ontario Masters graduate program. I have work permit till Nov 2011. I dont have any job in ON yet.

My question is ---- Is it possible that my work permit will get extended once I get PNP certificate to further apply for PR in this category. I believe I read something about it on cic.gc.ca site but want to confirm.

PLease try to help me with this. Thanks in advance !

Generally PNP certificate also gives a certificate which helps in getting work permit without job offer. But if you applyunder Master's category, you will not be issued this certificate
