EXTENDING STAY & SPONSORING

hello i need sum help...im a U.S citizen & i flew 2 canada 2 visit my gf. i came to canada in november..ik its kinda early but i wanna extend my stay cuz my gf is pregnant with my bby. would immigration let me extend my stay? & when the baby is born is there anyway i could get PR status? cuz i dnt quality yet 4 common law cuz i haven't lived with her 4 1yr. & we r in montreal quebec. my gf a canadian citizen shes 23 & imif im denied a exstension i was thinking bout tking my gf 2 NY 4 1 week & cme bk so i cn renew my 6months. but im scared they mite refuse me entry. if u cn help me id appreciate it ty.
