Hello.

Please help.

I am a contractor at one of the big 5 banks. I am on a 1 year temporary working visa at the moment. I got the job through an agency so I can not ask the bank for sponsorship. I have spoken to the HRDSC about what I need to do and they told me that I to get a LMO from the recruitment agency. However, the agency have said that we have a business-to-business relationship rather than a business-to-employee relationship. Does anyone have any experience of this, or suggestions?

I would really like to get an extension to my visa, as I am going to apply for PR. Does anyone have any suggestions on this? Should I apply for PR while I am in Canada?

Many thanks,
Sinead.
