Hello,

My wife has been up here in Canada visiting me since September 22nd, 2011. And as the days draw nearer to the end of her visit we are compelled to extend her Visa. I have a question regarding the financial aspect of this ordeal. My wife is a student, and therefore relies on me financially. So when I was filling out the application I came to the part regarding finances (how she will support herself, pay for a ticket in the event the app is denied etc.), and I noticed I need PROOF of this, and I was wondering, because I filled in the info that I will support her (provide her with money) should I provide a copy of my bank statement with the application or what? I am kind of lost here. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks for your time and consideration.

If you choose to support her like you said, one of the document or proof you need to support her application is to include copy of your bank Statement showing you have enough to cover the amount of time she intend to stay.
Is she a student or holds a visit visa, Keep in mind she can not study full time without a valid study permit.
